We return to Fresno State — our region's foremost advocate for higher education — to celebrate the San Joaquin Valley's grape, raisin and wine heritage with the forward-thinking spirit of Valley agriculture.

Our purpose is a quiet one: to honor the Valley's Grape-ness in all we do, and to grow a grateful, grape-full pride in this place we call home.

The heart of it all

Celebrate Grape-ness with us

The San Joaquin Valley grows the grape three ways — sweet table grapes to eat, even sweeter raisins, and wine to raise a glass. In fact, it's the only region in America that grows all three side by side — a claim to fame for the Valley that feeds the world.

Table grapes, raisins & wine

The San Joaquin Valley grows grapes and raisins for the table and the glass. There are more than 26 ways a grape is used — what a mighty grape.

A lasting Valley tradition

Rooted in the people who grow it

Behind every cluster is a grower, a family, a season of hard-won work. Our Valley Heritage collection gathers their stories — the farmers, the harvest, and a century of San Joaquin Valley agriculture.
